Our office are located in the historic Avondale 1775 Building, which has served the local community for almost 300 years as a Harnessmaker, a Restaurant and Hotel (located next to the old Pomeroy Railroad Station – now known as the Philadelphia Baltimore & Washington Railroad operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company), the Bachaelor’s Club Building, the National Bank of Avondale, a Bakery, a Butcher, a General Store, and a Barber Shop before being purchased for major building renovations and preservation, and use by this Travel Agency during the past two decades.
Worldwide Travel continues to serve the community from this historic building – with walk-ins, local residents from Chester and New Castle Counties, as well as other individual, family, group, athletes and celebrities, and business clients.
